Works brilliantly for blood sugar control! I have Polycystic ovary syndrome and insulin resistance, and I frequently monitor my blood sugar. Occasionally, my readings drift into the prediabetes range, depending on my diet. By testing myself with and without cinnamon at different dosages, I've found that 3 grams about 30 minutes before a meal works wonders! My blood sugar remains perfect with cinnamon, and I look forward to my next A1C test!

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a common hormonal disorder that affects people with ovaries, often during their reproductive years. It is characterized by a combination of symptoms that can vary widely among individuals, such as irregular menstrual cycles, excessive body hair growth (hirsutism), acne, and weight gain. PCOS is also associated with the presence of many small cysts on the ovaries, which can be seen through an ultrasound. This condition can lead to long-term health issues, including type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and infertility, making early diagnosis and management crucial.
The exact cause of PCOS remains unclear, but it is believed to involve a combination of genetic, hormonal, and environmental factors. Treatment options often focus on managing symptoms and can include lifestyle changes like diet and exercise, hormonal contraceptives to regulate periods, and medications to address specific issues such as fertility or insulin resistance. Keeping an open line of communication with healthcare providers is essential for effective management of PCOS, as personalized treatment can significantly alleviate symptoms and improve quality of life.
Cinnamon herbs refer to the leaves of the cinnamon tree, primarily derived from species like Cinnamomum verum (also known as Ceylon cinnamon) and Cinnamomum cassia (commonly known as cassia cinnamon). While the bark of the cinnamon tree is more widely recognized for its use as a spice, the leaves also carry aromatic qualities and can be used in culinary applications, herbal teas, and traditional medicine. Cinnamon leaves have a milder flavor profile compared to the bark and can be used to infuse oils, make herbal remedies, or even flavor dishes where a less intense cinnamon taste is desired.
In herbal medicine, cinnamon leaves are valued for their potential health benefits, including anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. They are rich in essential oils, particularly eugenol, which is believed to contribute to their health-promoting qualities. Some people may brew cinnamon leaf tea for its aromatic qualities and potential digestive benefits. However, it's essential to note that while some anecdotal evidence supports the health claims around cinnamon leaves, scientific research is limited. Always consult with a healthcare professional before using cinnamon herbs for medicinal purposes.
Cinnamon has garnered attention for its potential benefits in managing symptoms associated with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Some studies suggest that cinnamon may play a role in improving insulin sensitivity, which is often a concern for women with PCOS. Insulin resistance can contribute to weight gain and metabolic issues, making it a key area of focus for managing PCOS symptoms. By enhancing insulin function, cinnamon could help regulate menstrual cycles and improve ovulatory function, which are frequent challenges faced by those diagnosed with PCOS.
However, it's essential to note that while cinnamon may offer some supportive health benefits, it should not be viewed as a standalone treatment for PCOS. The condition is complex and often requires a multifaceted approach that may include dietary changes, exercise, and medical interventions prescribed by healthcare professionals. As with any supplement, it's wise to consult with a healthcare provider before adding cinnamon or other herbs to your routine, especially if you have specific health concerns or conditions associated with PCOS.

Moderate effectiveness
High quality, low price, and adequate size. Just don’t exceed the dosage. The ingredient is solely cinnamon bark, which is beneficial, though it lacks flavour. It works for Polycystic ovary syndrome but isn’t the absolute best choice for weight management.
